The competition is based on a two-part evaluation process. First, each nominated employer completes a survey regarding workplace policies, practices and demographics. The second part consists of an employee survey. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final rankings based on the following eight core areas of focus:

  • Corporate culture and communications
  • Leadership and planning
  • Overall engagement
  • Pay and benefits
  • Relationship with supervisor
  • Role satisfaction
  • Training, development and resources
  • Work environment

“We are honored to receive this award recognizing companies considered the best places to work in insurance,” said Angela McBride, Chief Administrative Officer. “To be recognized for the fifth consecutive year is a testament to our employees who work hard to give life to the service culture we value so much. This award shows that it truly sets us apart in the industry.”

In addition to the 2016 Best Places to Work in Insurance award, Amerisure’s Farmington Hills and Atlanta Core Service Centers have also been recognized by the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® this year.
