Farmington Hills, Mich., April 13, 2023 鈥� Amerisure is pleased to announce the promotion of Meliza Carrion to vice president of innovation & transformation.
In this role, Carrion will lead the company鈥檚 digital innovation, portfolio management office, process engineering, and user experience teams with a holistic approach toward transforming Amerisure鈥檚 customer experiences and business processes via corporate initiatives, new capabilities, innovative solutions, and continued agile journey.
Carrion joined Amerisure in 2021 as director of user experience (UX), a role in which she has consistently been an advocate for the voice of the user. Key initiatives included assisting with the delivery of crucial applications such as an upgrade to the Amerisure.com website, the redesign of Amerisure鈥檚 policyholder and agency portal, SureConnect庐, and the Amerisure Surety digital platform.

Carrion has more than 10 years of experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers and stakeholders in various industries, including serving as an experience designer, lead and manager for USAA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
