S1 Pilot: “One Small Step” (Rock Bottom)

After an accident renders Aldy and Brandt the last two blue whales in Melville, they are placed under the protective care of a newly reinstated, astronaut guardian known simply as “Spaceman.” Aldy and Brandt are quick to corrupt his good intentions. What started out as an entry-level escort mission swiftly veers off course, leading Spaceman to question his dignity, sobriety and mortality. This is Spaceman’s rock bottom.

S1 E2: “Planned Preservation” (Step 1)

Upon waking from a two day couch coma, Spaceman rushes to complete his mission, only to find that a riot has broken out at the preservation facility. After being separated, Spaceman investigates the true nature of the facility while Aldy and Brandt are led to believe that it’s “..mostly sunshine and hand jobs from here on out.” Spaceman accepts that he is powerless.

S1 E3: “Tour de Luna” (Steps 2 & 3)

Aldy and Brandt are fed up with cyclists flooding the streets so they take it upon themselves to lobby for separate bike lanes. Unbeknownst to them, another group has similar interests, but for all of the wrong reasons. After realizing they’ve become the unofficial spokesmen for an alt-white beluga hate group, they call on their trusty, recovering Spaceman to save the day. Spaceman finds God. God is good.

S1 E4: “Aldy’s Magical D” (Steps 4 & 5)

The gang goes to the fair! When Brandt knocks over a lamp in the fortune teller’s tent, he releases the river dolphin dick demon, Encantada. The spirit possesses Aldy’s dong and leads him into a horrible relationship with the worst whale in town, Mo. Mostly led by jealousy, Brandt uncovers the secrets of Encantada. Spaceman conducts an in depth moral inventory and confides in Brandt.

S1 E5: “Anglers and Demons” (Step 6)

Religious zealots have taken over the streets and debates over who the true savior of sea-kind commence. Is their true messiah Willy The Free or Shamoo? In all the chaos, a cult of angler fish take over the Church of Melville. Pastor Terry hires Spaceman to investigate the cult and uncover their dark secrets, Aldy and Brandt tag along for free crackers and booze. Spaceman makes his choice.

S1 E6: “Blue Gold” (Step 7)

Aldy and Brandt win an all expense paid trip to "Orgy Island” and are pursued by a special interest group with seedy plans for their seed. Spaceman is suspicious about the whole trip, but ends up buying a timeshare anyway.

S1 E7: “The Grady Caper” (Steps 8 & 9)

It’s All Hollow’s Eve in Melville and everyone’s at the best party of the year, except Aldy and Brandt. Grady Skinner banned them from ever attending his party so they drop acid and “stealthily” sneak in while singing their every move in the first Welcome To Melville musical episode. Spaceman won’t stop saying sorry.

S1 E8: “Brandt Kills Himself” (Step 10)

After plugging in his brand new EZ Cake Toaster while enjoying a soak, Brandt electrocutes himself. As he drifts in and out of fever dreams in the hospital, all of his closest friends come to pay their respects to the crispy whale on his last leg. Spaceman's conscience weighs heavy.

S1 E9: “Whale War III - Part Un” (Step 11)

When Melville’s Strategic Town Defense system fires at a French cargo vessel, mistaking it for a Russian war ship, the French retaliate with a declaration of war. As a draft is rolled out to all battle ready whales, Aldy and Brandt have to decide whether cheese and wine are worth dying for. Spaceman meets God.

S1 E10: “Whale War III - Part Deux” (Relapse)

The war rages on. Will Aldy and Brandt make it out alive? Yes. Probably, yes. Spaceman is fun again.
